Hi there! My name is Wendy, I’ve been a professional interior designer for more than 25 years. My whole life through I’ve been fascinated with space, light, and interior elements that influence our mood and behavior. I strive to design spaces that restore and inspire including strategies for seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor environments. It’s important to me that in every direction there is something that guides you through space, and that beauty surrounds you from every angle.
I have a bachelors degree in interior design from UW-Madison (go badgers) and a masters degree in architecture from the University of Michigan (go blue). I taught interior design at the university level for many years (go boilermakers, pointers, and cardinals) and published academic articles in interior design and environmental psychology.
In my downtime I enjoy traveling with my family and dog Eero (cavapoo) and of course working on the house – it’s an occupational hazard.
Send me a message if you’d like to learn more about HDS and the services we provide.
Cheers!
Wendy
